A scenic fabric depicting a forest scene richly studded with clusters of small flowers. Amongst the trees are rabbits, hedgehogs, horned sheep, squirrels, wild fowl, moles, deer and a handsome unicorn. A mid-15th century forest design, discovered in a house in Halifax in 1901, the design is printed on luxurious velvet in two colourways and on linen in two colourways and is reminiscent of tapestries found all over Britain.
