Chère vivienne

A luxurious fabric whose yarns have been carefully handspun by experienced artisans from villages in northern India, Chère Vivienne is an exquisite example of the expertise and skill of the master-weavers and dyers who take part in its creation. Its irregular silk strands are hand-sorted to give a distinctive appearance. The yarn is hand-dyed in order to obtain the exact colour desired. It is then pressed using wooden beaters to give extra softness, whilst an industrial finishing technique perfects the drape to ensure that it meets out high quality standards. Chère Vivienne is available in eight colours, from pale Ivory to Carbon black, and also richer shades such as powder Pink or Arabesque.
