Chimerique

This jacquard from Italy is inspired by the canvases of Otto Freundlich, German painter master of color and precursor of abstract art. On a base with a recurrence of bronze, ivory and carbon, flat areas of colors sometimes blue Celadon, Terracotta, Blue Misia or Arabesque stretch their abstract shapes. The choice of a fine weft in some places, thick in others, and sometimes tight weaves, in lines or in points, contribute to this very refined visual and textured game.
