Coromandel Print is named after India’s south-eastern coastline famed for traditional Indian hand blocked prints. Retaining the same level of detail as the archive document, Coromandel’s entwining branches, flowers, and the abundance of fruits such as pomegranates, allude to the artwork’s customary past.
